Stories We Tell
Director(s): Lydia Leiber
Film description: Wandering the streets of Ortigia, a woman vacationing in Sicily becomes convinced she is being followed. As she reflects on the island’s origin story, the ancient myth of Arethusa, she inhabits the story itself—reimagining a tale of desire and unrequited love as one of predation, pursuit, and paranoia.
