This special film doesn’t hail from the overcrowded crop of “cult” documentaries we’ve seen in recent years. The people portrayed here are all very much individuals trying to make sense of an increasingly chaotic and cacophonous world, much like you and I, even if they’ve taken some turns on their path that very much set them apart from us. In some cases, they’ve made choices that cause harm, and clearly call out for course-correction. But if you watch with an open mind, you’ll understand them—and perhaps even yourself—with more clarity.
